To begin the application process for water and/or electric service, please follow the steps below. The forms can be submitted directly to the New Construction Office by using the "Submit" button at the top of the first page. Please note that not all properties within the District's service territory are served by both TDPUD water & electric. Contact us at (530) 582-3931 if you have questions.
STEP 1: Apply for Service To apply for service, complete the included forms |
SOLAR: Application for Solar (If Applicable) To apply for solar, complete the included forms |
You must also submit plans (site & elevation minimum) to approve the electric panel location. Please email those plans to the New Construction Office.

STEP 2 Select your Meter Size & Pay Your Fees for Approval of Your Building Permit |

Current Residential Electric & Water Connection & Facilities Fees

If you are ready to have your electric meter installed and it has been tagged by the Town of Truckee, please contact us at (530) 582-3931 or email to New Construction Office.
STEP 4 |
Submit Fire Sprinkler Plans to New Construction Office and they will be forwarded to the Water System Engineer.
STEP 5 |
Schedule a final inspection and submit your certified backflow test to the Water Quality Office. If For questions, contact the District's Water Inspector at (530) 582-3926 or email Water Quality Office.
