The District Clerks Office is the local official who administers democratic processes such as elections, access to city records, and all legislative actions ensuring transparency to the public. We wear many hats including  managing public inquiries and relationships beyond the Truckee Regional area. The District Clerk acts as a compliance officer for federal, state, and local statutes including the Political Reform Act, the Brown Act, and the Public Records Act.  We are supporters of committees, contracts, and The Board of Directors of TDPUD to name a few.

The District is a proud member of the California Special Districts Assocation (CSDA) and supports a variety of CSDA programs including the Special Districts Mapping Project which is the most comprehensive, interactive map of independent special districts in California (Special Districts Map - California Special Districts Association). Also see for a general description of what a special district is (Home - DMTD).

As part of the District's commitment to transparency, please use the following link to access the District's and other public agencies reported board member and staff member compensation - Government Code Section 53908 (Enhancing Government Accountability and https://publicpay.ca.gov/).
