Pay Online
Electronic online billing (E-Bill) allows customers to make payments online, as well as view accounts, including history and usage, make address changes and schedule service transfers and disconnects. click here
Electronic Funds Transfer
For customers who prefer not to have to write a check for their bill each month, the District offers electronic funds transfer (EFT) service. The EFT Service automatically deducts your utility payment from your checking account on your due date so you are never late. Customers receive a monthly statement itemizing charges while avoiding late fees. No additional charges are incurred. EFT form
Equal Payment Plan
Electronic funds transfer works well with customers on the Equal Payment plan, which is convenient for customers whose electric bill fluctuates substantially during the year. Payment is determined by your average energy consumption over one year. To qualify, accounts must be current and customers should have been receiving bills for services for more than 12 months. Applications are accepted in April and May of each year.
Pay by Credit Card (over the Internet or by phone)
Third party payment allows residential customers to pay for services by credit card. A nominal service fee is applied. The service can be accessed through www.officialpayments.com or by calling 800-272-9829 and using the jurisdiction code #1537 when asked.Official Payments
Payment Drop-Off
Payments may be dropped off at the TDPUD office, located at 11570 Donner Pass Road in Truckee. An after hours drop box is located outside the lobby. There is also a drop box located in the lobby so you won't have to wait if there is a line.
Mail Your Payments
The tried and true method still works. You may notice that payments are headed to Prescott, Arizona. This essentially gives the duties of processing monthly payments to a company who specializes in payment processing, allowing staff to spend more time with customers. These payments are e-mailed to us daily and posted to your account right away.
